Nicholas Lintott is recorded as a tenant and landholder in the Cowdray estate area. The family name’s Sussex–Surrey–Hampshire concentration fits the documented early line.
1810 · Walberton, Sussex
Paul Lintott’s memoir gives George Lintott’s birth as 22 July 1810 at Walberton. His son William was born in Markham, Ontario in 1836, marking the Canadian generation of this branch. The earlier 1807 date remains a research conflict.
Manitoba & Alberta
William Erle and Nellie Alice Lintott’s family included Paul, Lloyd, Gretta-May, and Robin. Their descendants carried the line through the Prairies and beyond.
1983 · A reconnection
Diana reconnected with her biological mother, Lillian Bernice Todd. Her paternal half-brother Howard Speers remains part of the Speers branch.

Speers family
Henry Stanton Speers (30 December 1915–24 November 1980), born and buried in Semans, Saskatchewan, was the son of Albert Stanton Speers and Emma Hawley. Henry and Rosa Katherine Zeller married in 1943; their son Howard is Diana’s paternal half-brother.
Gretta-May Friesen
Gretta-May Friesen (née Lintott) died in 2022. With Helmut Friesen, she raised David, Donna, and Lorna. Their family and grandchildren are preserved in the private GEDCOM record.
